Addaxia Courses
-
How are Addaxia courses carried out?
At the beginning of your course, your teacher will hand out all the necessary material. As a student, you will only need to bring along something to write with and a notebook. For every 3hr session, a 15-minute break is included.
-
Do I have to pay for the course material?
No, the course material is included in the course fees. No additional fees will be charged for course material.
-
Who will be in charge of my training?
Addaxia's team is made out of specialised teachers that have followed studies in pedagogy and languages. All of them have a Master 1 or 2 degrees (or equivalent). In addition, all of them have acquired experience throughout the world or in really diverse domains.
-
How will I know which class corresponds to my level?
It is really important to find your language level before your subscription. It is useless taking an easier or more difficult course; therefore, we invite you to answer the Addaxia Placement Test available online. Knowing your level will help us in choosing the right class and the appropriate material suiting your needs. If this is not done we will carry out your placement test on your first day of the course to determine your level.
-
How can I measure my progress?
Addaxia sessions follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This means that the progress levels are strictly defined. For example: A1 (beginners), A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. With 60 hours of training, which are equivalent to 2 weeks of intensive classes, you would proceed to the next level. In 30 hours, you would have achieved half a level, meaning: A1.1.
-
Do I have the necessary level to start a course at Addaxia?
At Addaxia we offer courses for all levels, so you are sure to find the course which applies to you even if you have never studied the language.
-
Could I start to learn a new language in the country where it is spoken even though I don't speak a word of that language?
Absolutely! There is no better place to learn a language than in the country where it is spoken. The school provides you with the necessary material which is illustrated and easy to understand especially in the case of beginners. The school staff is used to talking to foreign students so don't worry about a thing!
-
Do I get a certificate after the course?
When you complete a course, you receive the Addaxia Participation Certificate along with an Addaxia Academic record, documenting your language achievements.
